Ambassador Summer Training

The Monroe County Youth Prevention Ambassadors met over the summer break for an intense two-day training on the in's and out's of being a prevention ambassador. Leaders from each of the work groups spoke to the ambassadors about the activities and goals of their work group, as well as provided information about the substance their group focuses on.

The Ambassadors also received training on public speaking skills, presentation skills, media production, working with the press, activism, as well as team building activities which allowed the group to get to know each other.
